Sara has spent more than 20 years living in the Town of Manlius and values the strong sense of community that makes it such a special place to live. She believes informed, engaged residents are the backbone of strong communities and that town government works best when it listens, collaborates, and stays focused on the people it serves.

She is running for Town Supervisor to bring steady, thoughtful leadership to town government — leadership that puts residents first, supports staff in doing their best work, and approaches decisions with care, transparency, and respect.
LEADERSHIP BUILD ON EXPERIENCE
Sara has spent decades helping organizations and communities work better. She has worked throughout Central New York in the not for profit sector, serving as an executive director and representing people with disabilities, refugees, and other underserved populations. Her work required managing complex budgets, overseeing staff, ensuring compliance, and working collaboratively with boards, funders, and community partners — the same core responsibilities required of a successful Town Supervisor.

Today, Sara owns a certified women-owned management consulting business serving clients across the region. Her work focuses on organizational development, helping organizations strengthen operations, align resources with priorities, and deliver results. This experience translates directly to effective town leadership: planning thoughtfully, managing resources responsibly, and building systems that work.

Colleagues describe Sara as someone who follows through, gets things done, and helps teams succeed. She is known for her calm, competent approach and her commitment to doing the work well — even when it’s difficult.

As a member of the Manlius Town Board, Sara has taken an active role in town meetings and governance, while also working behind the scenes to solve problems and manage town projects. She believes the role of Town Supervisor goes beyond managing staff — it is about ensuring town government serves residents effectively, respectfully, and transparently, while planning responsibly for the town’s future.
